Day 1
Meals included: Lunch and Dinner

Depart 7.30am outside the Registry steps Flinders University the 8.15am outside Adelaide Convention Centre (North Tce)

After a short stop at Port Germain, we make our way to the historic town of Quorn for lunch.

Later in the day, we travel to the heart of the Flinders Ranges to begin many unique experiences in this special land.

Late afternoon we arrive at Rawnsley Park, our comfortable & private accommodation. Experience the abundance of native wildlife and flora.

 
Day 2
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
 

Wake up to the call of the Kookaburras.

Enjoy your breakfast and the morning view of South Australia’s iconic Wilpena Pound, also known to the local Aboriginal people as Ikara.

The rest of the afternoon is dedicated to exploring and photographing the diverse flora and fauna in one of the unique geographical wonders of the world.

We spend the rest of the afternoon off-road traveling the famous Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges (also known as “the corridors through time”) to view the ancient rock formations and spot the elusive Yellow Footed Rock Wallabies.

Wildlife includes Kangaroos, Emus and large Wedge Tailed Eagles, which are prolific in this rugged area.

While traveling through the gorges we learn about the globally significant events recorded in these spectacular gorges that led the dawn of animal life on Earth.

We will see first-hand evidence for ‘Snowball Earth’ (the most extreme ice-age in Earth’s history), a huge meteorite impact and the dawn of animal life, recorded by layers in the rock. This iconic story is why the Flinders Ranges is currently being nominated for World Heritage.

Later in the day, we turn back to Rawnsley Park. In the evening we settle down for the night under millions of stars and enjoy dinner around the campfire.

 
Day 3
Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch
 

Today we travel to the Southern Flinders Ranges to spend time in the Mount Remarkable National Park. We go for a short walk to see 

where the "Ocean Meets the Outback".  BBQ lunch in a beautiful setting.

Later afternoon, sit back and relax for the comfortable journey back to Adelaide. 

We arrive in Adelaide at approximately 5pm.
