After departing Adelaide & Flinders University pick up points, travel along the spectacular Fleurieu Peninsula to arrive at Wirrina Cove Marina. One of the highlights of the day is an 1 hour Ocean Safari along coastline viewing stunning cliffs, bays & pristine turquoise waters of St Vincent Gulf. Amazing geological formations make up the rugged coastline with towering cliff-faces, rolling hills, with caves and hidden coves. We make our way past Rapid Bay and its jetties & quarry to visit the Fur Seal Colony, with a few lazy Seal Lions around Rapid Head. Try and spot soaring White Bellied Sea Eagles circling above the towering cliffs and catch a look at the huge wind turbines of Starfish Hill Wind Farm.

Early afternoon there is free time Myponga. Plenty of lunch options in the town(own expense).
After lunch enjoy a 3.3km hike on the Myponga Trail that takes you through open plains, forested areas and native vegetation. On the walk you may see some of the special species that call Myponga home. More than 120 bird species live in the area including some that enjoy life by the water and others that can be found inland. You can also see many native animals such as kangaroos. Coastal drive back to Adelaide with an ice-cram stop at Port Noarlunga.
Arrive back in Adelaide approx. 5pm.
